An Ordinary Guy Who's Led an Extraordinary Life
Elliott Haverlack is a CPG Senior Executive and Change Agent Leader spending much of his 40-year career in the Pet Category. He is a widely sought-after motivational speaker, life coach, and educator.
Throughout his career Elliott has held various C-level roles at companies including H.J. Heinz, Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, and Hampshire Pet Products. He has served as the chief executive for five companies in his career.
Elliott has a strong passion for coaching leaders while transforming companies. After his initial retirement in 2012, he founded Unbundle It LLC - a continuing education, consulting, and executive coaching company. Through this enterprise, Elliott has played a key role as a turnaround and change agent along with being a valued educator for over thirty companies.
Elliott co-founded and was a Principal at Targeted Pet Treats in 2000 and helped build it into a leading long-lasting chew entity in the category. It was heralded for its singular innovative expertise and exceptional customer intimacy.
He joined CJ Foods (Alphia) in 2014 as a long-term consultant; he was selected as a board member there in 2015 and remains in that capacity presently. In January 2018, Elliott volunteered to serve as interim President for a period that lasted for 18 months.
In his career Elliott has served as a board director at seven companies as well as a management board member of another three.
Elliott is a proud graduate of Slippery Rock University (class of ‘80) and holds a BS in Environmental Science. In 2019 he established the Frank and Margaret Haverlack Good Citizen Scholarship at his alma mater, named in honor of his late parents.
Elliott has a long track record of community service working with various youth organizations. He has served as President of his local Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Child Advocacy Center of Pennsylvania, and is currently on the board of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of Young Life.
